B1 Regular Verbs

A helping verb is added to make a present tense sentence past tense (het and ge-) or future tense (sal or gaan). Let's play with English to illustrate the point with Afrikaans rules.

Present: Ian publishes the book in Europe.
Past: Ian het the book in Europe gepublish.
Future: Ian sal the book in Europe publish. or Ian gaan the book in Europe publish.
